Reverend Oz Lorentzen grew up in northern Alberta. Since then, his spiritual and life journey has taken him to B.C., Ontario and New York state before his return to Alberta. Oz’s ministry and vocational path is also varied, ranging from work with Young Offenders to being a College Professor. These various experiences all contribute to his ministry as a priest. With a passion for the transforming power of the Good News of Jesus Christ, Oz looks for ways to invite others into this freeing, transforming encounter with God.

Oz and family (wife and two boys) are glad to call St. Barnabas and Medicine Hat home. “Our desire is to be a part of God’s work as He builds His Kingdom here. We look forward to having you join us in this exciting journey of life and faith.”
